This Privacy Policy explains how Accurai ("Accurai", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit accurai.ca (the "Site") or contact us. Accurai is based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and provides AI accuracy testing, knowledge-base readiness, QA, monitoring, and agentic AI safety review services for small businesses.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA).
Information we collect
Information you provide
- When you submit the audit-request or sample-report form, we collect your name, business name, and email address, and optionally your phone number, website URL, industry, and the details in your message.
- When you email or call us, we collect the information you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
If you consent to analytics cookies (see "Cookies and consent" below), we use Google Analytics 4 to collect standard usage data such as pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location (derived from a truncated IP address), device and browser type, and on-site interactions. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
Cookies and consent
The Site does not place analytics cookies until you accept them. On your first visit you will see a consent banner. If you accept, we enable Google Analytics; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer. We use Google Consent Mode, which keeps analytics storage disabled until you grant consent. Strictly necessary site functionality does not rely on tracking cookies.
How we use personal information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide requested information, quotes, or services.
- To deliver, maintain, and improve our services and the Site.

How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd) — website analytics, subject to your consent.
- Web3Forms — processes and delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and content delivery.
- Google Workspace — email used to receive and respond to your messages.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
International data transfers
Some service providers are located in the United States and other countries, so your personal information may be processed outside your jurisdiction and subject to the laws of those countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here — typically for the duration of our communications or engagement and a reasonable period afterward — unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Canada (PIPEDA)
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions). You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Marketing and anti-spam (CASL)
We send commercial electronic messages only with your consent or as otherwise permitted under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe option, and you can opt out at any time by emailing hello@accurai.ca.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be posted on this page.
